Textile Art

Barcelona, Spain

Elena Rodriguez is a contemporary textile artist whose work explores the intersection of traditional craft techniques and modern narratives. Born in Barcelona in 1985, she has spent over a decade developing her unique approach to fabric manipulation and fiber art.

Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the dialogue between heritage and innovation. Through textiles, I explore themes of identity, memory, and cultural displacement. Each piece is a meditation on the stories woven into fabric—both literally and metaphorically—connecting past traditions with contemporary experiences.
